After nearly two years of extensive renovation and restoration, I’m thrilled to announce the completion of The Whitney on Carrollton, a beautifully restored historic landmark in Uptown New Orleans, located at the corner of Oak Street and Carrollton Avenue, directly on the iconic streetcar line!
Originally constructed in 1920 as a Whitney Bank branch, this remarkable building has been thoughtfully transformed into a luxurious nine-suite boutique hotel, complete with an upscale speakeasy cocktail lounge coming soon on the first floor.
The Whitney offers spacious, beautifully appointed accommodations featuring full kitchens and comfortable living areas, ranging from studios to two and three-bedroom suites. Several suites can also be connected to create expansive accommodations with four, five, six, or even seven bedrooms, along with multiple bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces. These flexible layouts make The Whitney an ideal destination for families, wedding parties, reunions, Tulane visitors, and larger groups traveling together.
I couldn’t be more excited to finally bring this vision to life! The Whitney on Carrollton is now officially accepting reservations!

The home was beautiful, full of New Orleans character and comfort. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen and bathrooms were luxurious and spotless. We loved the walkability, our teenage grandchildren were busy all the time walking to Audubon Park or shops and restaurants. Our 14 month old loved being on the porch waving at everyone passing by. The two parking spaces provided proved invaluable. We were there for a wedding and Edward’s home took our stay up a level. Do not hesitate to book this lovely home

If you are looking for a beautiful home for a large group in Nola, look no further! Edward is a perfect host- answered questions quickly, sent thorough check-in and check-out instructions before I asked, and is helpful and friendly throughout. The home itself is incredible - easily the most beautiful home I have stayed in through Airbnb. Each room has an attached bathroom with beautiful tile and bathtubs - truly felt like a luxury home. The location is great - easy to hop on the streetcar to the French quarter and not so close that it’s overly busy or loud. All in all couldn’t recommend this home enough!

This Airbnb exceeded all of my expectations! Not only was it spectacularly laid out for both privacy and interaction; but also elegantly designed and deliciously comfortable. Pristine and airy, the property itself is a perfect blend of old world Southern glamour, and modern efficiency. Not a detail was missed. Edward is a thoughtful and attentive host who provided a wide range of recommendations for local activities. It was incredibly convenient to hop on the street car right out front and be in the heart of the city in a few minutes! An utter delight, I can’t find a single thing that I would change. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

Love! Love! Love this place. Edward is an exceptional host who truly cares about his guest. Your every need will be met if you decide to stay here. Checking in and out was a breeze. Very detailed instructions. The beds were super comfortable, tvs in all rooms, and the sofa reclines! The balcony was a fun place to hang out and either drink coffee in the morning or sip wine in the afternoon. And a parking spot!

Emerald Paradise
This place was perfect!! The location was fantastic. We were within walking distance of several restaurants and a short drive to all major department stores and grocery stores. The boardwalk was a short drive as well. The condo itself is absolutely beautiful! Edward really thought of all the details down to the cooking supplies. You have a fully stocked kitchen! The best part by far are the views. We spent every night on the patio overlooking the ocean which was stunning. Lastly, Edward is extremely responsive and understanding. We cannot wait to come back.

I was born and raised in New Orleans and absolutely love this city. Between the awesome food, extremely unique culture and the southern hospitality, there’s no other place like it in the world. My profession is to build and renovate houses in New Orleans. I particularly love to take these 100+ year old houses and bring them back to there glory for future generations to enjoy and appreciate them as well. When I do get away, Destin Florida has always been our escape to place. My family has been going there for over 25 years and I’m thrilled to have finally completed our dream beachfront property to enjoy and rent out.
